We had a Carport and Patio designed and built by Sunstate. Sunstate has been our best experience to deal with so far. Well done. We just wanted to say the Sunstate Team and Installer's were fantastic and a pleasure to work with. They talked us through everything, communicated extremely well, left the site clean and tidy and have done an awesome job. This is the gold star of how tradespeople should be. Sunstate were amazing from start to finish. First time building an external structure to our house (carport) and the team at Sunstate were very helpful and professional in supporting us through-out the entire process. They provided a step-by-step process with expected payment timelines and stages of approvals and construction. Shout-out to Zac who answered all of our questions during the initial consultation! We were even surprised by having our carport built 2 months prior to the expected date (supposed to be up in January 2023, and had it installed early November 2022)! Everyone was lovely, definitely recommend this company. Thank you Sunstate!

From the initial contact to discuss our carport Sunstate were very professional and great at keeping us updated on progress. They were happy to spend the time with us to get the design to integrate into our Queenslander.
Great experience on install day and discuss minor tweaks to ensure head heights, guttering and infill panels worked perfectly with the existing house. I was surprised at the efficiency of the build process with the carport put up in a single day!
Extremely happy with the experience with Sunstate D&C from start to finish and very pleased with how the carport turned out.
I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I must say that Sunstate Design & Construct delivered our pergola with absolute professionalism and clear constant communication.
I recieved 3 other prices all from the big players and I felt they were out to price gouge, but not SDC.
Initially I dealt with young Zach who was very accommodating and informative, later dealt with Brian who was unphased by the job ahead of him.
A standard QBCC contract clearly outlining requirements and responsibilities.
4 Easy payments terms rather than the common 50% upfront and 50% on completion that the big players were requesting.
The final result turned out better than I hoped for.
I have absolutely no issue in recommending SDC for any building works and I'll be getting them back for future works.
The only downside was it took about 4-5 months to get works completed but that's because of minor changes made by us and the workload SDC have, other that 5 stars all the way.
